Featuring 20-foot rafters and 10-foot beams, this pergola creates an impressive outdoor gathering space while maintaining the strength, balance, and timeless design that define the Big Kahuna collection.
The included 10-foot posts provide ample clearance for outdoor furniture, dining areas, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and hot tubs. Beam clearance with 10-foot posts is approximately 9’5″ (or 9’6″ when using post mounting hardware).
Western Red Cedar is prized for its natural beauty, dimensional stability, and natural resistance to insects and decay. The rough sawn finish offers a rustic, textured appearance that highlights the character of the wood and complements a variety of outdoor living styles. For best results, we recommend staining or sealing your cedar pergola soon after installation and reapplying every other year to help preserve its rich color and protect it from the elements.

Once your pergola ships, transit times generally range from 1 to 7 business days, depending on your location.
How Your Pergola Kit Arrives
Each pergola kit is carefully packaged. We build a custom pallet for every order, securely stack and strap the lumber, and construct protective crating around the shipment to safeguard the materials during transit. Your kit will be delivered via tractor-trailer and must be unloaded by hand, piece by piece. Most drivers are not required to assist with unloading, although some may choose to help. We recommend having 2 to 3 able-bodied adults available to unload the shipment. Most deliveries can be unloaded in approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the pergola kit.
Preparing for Delivery
To remove the protective packaging, we recommend having the following tools available: scissors or a utility knife to cut shipping straps; a drill or screw gun with a Phillips-head bit for crates secured with screws.
Because each pergola kit is custom packaged based on its size and configuration, the amount of crating material will vary. Shipment crates include a small number of screws, typically 4 to 6, that must be removed before unloading the pergola components.
