Standard-size pergola kits typically ship from our Florida facility within 2 to 4 weeks after cleared payment is received. Production and shipping timeframes may vary based on seasonal demand, kit size, and delivery location. For the most up-to-date lead times, please contact our team. Once your pergola ships, transit times generally range from 1 to 7 business days, depending on your location.
How Your Pergola Kit Arrives
Each pergola kit is carefully packaged. We build a custom pallet for every order, securely stack and strap the lumber, and construct protective crating around the shipment to safeguard the materials during transit. Your kit will be delivered via tractor-trailer and must be unloaded by hand, piece by piece. Most drivers are not required to assist with unloading, although some may choose to help. We recommend having 2 to 3 able-bodied adults available to unload the shipment. Most deliveries can be unloaded in approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the pergola kit.
Preparing for Delivery
To remove the protective packaging, we recommend having the following tools available: scissors or a utility knife to cut shipping straps; a drill or screw gun with a Phillips-head bit for crates secured with screws
Because each pergola kit is custom packaged based on its size and configuration, the amount of crating material will vary. Shipment crates include a small number of screws, typically 4 to 6, that must be removed before unloading the pergola components.

MasterRib 26-gauge roofing panels can be ordered with the Big Kahuna™ PLUS Covered Pergola Kit to complete your DIY pergola with a roof. Pergola with metal roofing option includes the appropriate number and length of roofing panels to suit the size of the pergola, plus 1 ½” roofing screws, side lap Butyl tape sealant, and Lap Tek screws, and for PT Pine kits an adhesive barrier for application between wood and metal roofing.

Popular and versatile, this pergola with metal roofing features a classic look and was designed with extra-wide ribs to increase strength, ease of handling, and installation. Another unique feature of the MasterRib metal roofing panel is the extra-large siphoning channel on the under-lap rib installed to provide extra leak resistance in the presence of extreme wind and rain loads.
